My name is Nyary Moyo, I am the Founder of a Trailblaizing, African startup Yanaya Lifestyle . At Yanaya our goal has been to redefine what it means to eat healthy in every sense of the word “redefining” from taking our traditional fruits creating amazing smoothies and superfoods into tasty meals.
However in the last year, our business was faced with a myriad of challenges primarily because we failed to have adequate systems and a robust strategy to support the brand in my absence.
I am a fearless young woman who believes that there are no impossibilities, if I believe it I can achieve it. Life as you know it, has a way of humbling us. I have been married for 8 years and in the duration of my marriage we have struggled to have children. My husband and I have experienced the loss of 10 of our precious babies through miscarriages. Last year alone we lost 4 babies, one of the pregnancies which almost killed me, but God is gracious. This has had a terrible impact on my social, spirituality and business life.
I would like to thank this community that has been ever so gracious to us as we went through our wilderness experience. Trevor Ncube and your wife Nyaradzo who has been an angel in human form, thank you for holding our hands to walk this difficult journey. To Precious Murena - Nyika my mentor, thank you for being patient with me and holding the torch towards success, to my friends Lesly Marange Sicelo Dube Becky K Boiketlo Bibi Sebate thank you for sitting down with me to weep but still count me as a warrior.
To our patrons The Yanaya Lifestyle that you loved is now back! Like the adage says, The Second Time is always a charm. Our failures of yesteryear have taught us more than any textbook could. Failure has possibly been the greatest blessing we have experienced since we began. We are back for all of it!
